‘No Ordinary Love’ continues to push Quarry’s musical output to new heights, while retaining the signature dreamy sound of his previous debut release ‘White Wishy Washy World’. Synths fade in and out to add a gritty density to the texture, while huge drum sounds permeate the subtle slapback guitar fills. By the end of the tune, the wall of sound created demonstrates not only Quarry’s compositional skill, but the excellent production this track has been blessed with. With this ever changing soundscape providing the soundtrack to this upcoming career, we can expect to see many more exciting offerings from the UK-based songwriter. -Dan Peeke
